DR. MCKENSIE GRINA

Restore Doctor | Community Connector

Dr. McKensie was born and raised in Hastings, Minnesota. When she was young, she loved being the “teacher” when she and her siblings would play. It was during her time at Chiropractic school that she learned about the word “doctor.” In Latin, the word “doctor” means teacher. Dr. McKensie has always had a passion for serving others, for music, and for health and wellness. She attended the University of North Dakota, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and then spent two years working at multiple emergency department locations and cardiology clinics across the Twin Cities.

In 2017, Dr. McKensie began Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. During her time at school, Dr. McKensie was part of a business club which she led and became President of for over half of her time in school. She spent her free time attending numerous chiropractic events, conferences, and seminars to prepare herself for her future as a chiropractor. Dr. McKensie pursued excellence in the top chiropractic techniques in the profession, learning optimal systems and procedures for chiropractic practice and gaining confidence in using and understanding the advanced technologies utilized at Restore Chiropractic.

Dr. McKensie graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in December of 2020. She is certified in Torque Release Technique® and the Webster Technique, and she plans to continue attending seminars with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to expand her skill set in infant, pediatric, and prenatal chiropractic care.

When asked, Dr. McKensie said her dream practice would be to serve women and young couples in their early 20s, follow them through pregnancy, and help their babies get the best possible start to life. She also loves having multigenerational families in the office, and practicing Torque Release Technique® allows her to serve all ages and demographics with excellence.

Dr. McKensie and her husband now live in Brooklyn Park with their dog, Reese. She stays active with her family, and in her free time she enjoys cooking, working out, reading, attending sporting events, traveling and going to the lake!
